Win8.1 system prompt: you need to provide administrator rights to copy to this folder solution

Win8.1 system, sometimes copy files or folders will appear "You need to provide administrator privileges to copy to this folder", you need to adjust in Group Policy.

1, as shown in the figure, I have ever seen Win8.1.

2, how do you click to continue, it is no good.

3. Right-click the Start button - Run (or press Win+R), bring up the Run box with administrative privileges, type gpedit.msc, press Enter, and bring up the Local Group Policy Editor. Click on Computer Configuration - Windows Settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - Security Options, the right window to find User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode, right click - Properties (or double click on it), select Disabled.

4, then re-copy the folder or file to the C drive location, the system will still prompt the box & rdquo; you need to provide administrator privileges to copy to this folder & ldquo;, you click directly Go ahead and you will be able to copy it. If not, try restarting your computer.

5, if it still does not work, there are two methods below

First, right click on the C drive - properties - security, find USERS, and then modify the permissions, increase write permissions
< Br>

Second, use the command to reduce the C disk security level icacls c:\\ /setintegritylevel M

Right-click the start button-Run (or press Win+R) to bring up the run box with administrative rights. Type CMD, then paste icacls c:\\ /setintegritylevel M and press Enter.
