Win10: How to open the hidden search box in the Build 9879 taskbar

Microsoft introduced a new version of Windows 10 Build 9879 last week. Now after a few days of in-depth mining, we have found a lot of new features, one of which is the hidden taskbar search box.

We can open the hidden search box by editing the registry of Windows10 Build 9879: open the registry editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Search, create a new one called EnableSearchBox Restart the computer with the DWORD value and set it to 1.

Once you have completed the above steps, you will see a new search box appear in the taskbar, making it easy to search directly from the taskbar. Unfortunately, every time we click on the search bar, the search bar hangs, but we can clearly see the voice input option, which is one of the features of the Windows 10 retail version. If you right click on the taskbar, you can also see the option to turn this feature on/off.
