Windows desktop icon is gone, what to do

Sometimes I will encounter the problem that the desktop icon is missing. This is divided into three cases, from easy to difficult:

1. Just desktop On the computer
, network, control panel, user folder & rdquo; icon is gone;

2. The icons on the desktop are all gone, but the taskbar is still displayed;

3. All icons and taskbars on the desktop are gone.

The following Microsoft chiefs use the latest Win8.1 system as an example to introduce the solution to the above three desktop icons:

1. On the desktop, this one Computer, network, control panel, user folder & rdquo; icon is gone

In fact, by default, Win8.1 system desktop does not display & ldquo; this computer, network, control panel, user folder & rdquo; Icon, if you want to display, you need to follow the "How to display the "Computer, User Folder, Network, Control Panel" icon on the Win8.1 desktop.

So if these icons disappear, follow the same method again.

Second, the icons on the desktop are all gone, but the taskbar is displayed.

If you encounter this situation, please right click on the blank space of the desktop and select “View”, in the lower menu There is a <;display desktop icon” option. As shown in the figure:

In general, the desktop icon disappears due to the option of being unchecked by mistake. Re-check this option.

Three, all the icons and taskbars on the desktop are gone.

This situation is caused by the fact that the Windows
resource manager crashes without a normal restart, just Manually launch the Windows
Explorer. The method is as follows:

Win + R shortcut key brings up the "Run" dialog box, enter "explorer", OK, you can run Windows Explorer, then disappear the desktop icon and task The bar is back again
