Computer Store News: When logging in to your own Windows 10 device, you may notice a square icon on the screen virtual keypad or keyboard virtual keyboard. So what is this square icon used for? The answer may surprise you.


When the screen virtual keypad pops up, this square icon is located to the left of the number 0. When the entire screen virtual keyboard pops up, the icon is located to the left of the space bar. And if your computer has an external physical keyboard, you won't see this option on the virtual keyboard. When you click on your personal password on the virtual keyboard of the screen, the square icon on the keyboard will also light up or go out. For example, if your PIN is 1234 and you type it correctly, the icon will not light.

The square icon in the virtual keyboard and virtual keyboard provides highlight feedback when the user clicks on a button. When combined with the button sound, it is very close to the experience of tapping the physical keyboard.
