Microsoft: Win10 Continuum mode ends at the end of the year or early next year

When Microsoft first announced Windows 10, it also announced an experience designed specifically for mixed-mode devices: Continuum mode. At the TechEd Europe conference, Joe Belfiore confirmed in the Q&A session that the Windows 10 Continuum model will arrive at the end of this year or early next year.

Windows 10 will judge whether to enter the "table mode" according to whether it is a touch screen and whether there is a mouse or keyboard. If there is touch and the mouse and keyboard accessories are unplugged, Windows 10 will prompt whether to turn on “ tablet mode”. After clicking OK, the Modern application will be full screen, the taskbar will be back with a return button, the entire interface will be slightly enlarged for the touch, and the start menu will also become full screen mode (title map).

At the beginning of next year, Microsoft will talk about Windows 10 on more device types (such as mobile phones, ARM tablets) and more consumer features.
