Windows system has done several optimizations, then right-click the new option to create a new TXT text format document, the original registry information has been modified, the solution is to start running Enter

regedit

to find this branch of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\.txt, and then add a subkey named "SillowNew" under this branch;

in “ShellNew Add an empty string named "NullFile" to the key; open the registry editor and expand the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT primary key, which lists the extension names of all file types in Windows. We can find the file type to be added to the “New menu and then modify it. The following is an example of adding the “.eml file associated with the Outlook Express program. 1. First you need to create a sample file. Open Outlook Express, click on the “file → new mail command to create a new mail file. Then click “ File & Rarr; Save As command, in the "Save As" dialog box, select the save path as "C:\\Windows, name the file "ld.; sample.eml" (the save path and file name can be set freely ). 2. First find the “.eml folder under the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT primary key, right click on it, select “New → primary key command in the pop-up shortcut menu, the new primary key is named "ShellNew". 3. Select the “ShellNew” key, right click on the right window, select “New → string value, and name it “FileName”. Double-click the “FileName” string and type ““C:\\Windows\\sample.eml” in the “Key Value” box of the “Edit String” dialog box. Press the “OK” button to exit the Registry Editor. 4. Right click on the desktop and select “New Menu” to see if there is more than one item “Outlook Express Mail Message”. Click this item to create a new mail file. Double-click the mail file to open the Outlook Express “New Mail Window”. After you have finished writing the email, click the “Send” button to send the email. According to the above steps, you can add other types of files, but note that in step 2, not all file types have to create a “FileName string. If the associated program of the file type you are adding will automatically create a new blank file (such as Word, Excel) at startup, set the new string name to “NullFile. If the associated program does not create a blank file (such as Outlook, Foxmail) at startup, set the new string name to “FileName. To delete the new file type added in the “New Menu”, just find the corresponding “ShellNew” key in the registry and delete it.
