Seven methods of dealing with insufficient Windows system experience skills

In the process of using the computer, if your system configuration is not very high, then often there may be tips for insufficient system resources, of course, other than the configuration Will cause insufficient system resources. What should we do in the face of insufficient system resources? Please see the seven methods below.

1. Clear the  quo; clipboard. When the clipboard stores a picture or a large piece of text, it will take up more memory. Please clear the contents of the clipboard and release the system resources it occupies: click "Start", point to "Programs, point to "Accessories, point to "System Tools, click “ Clipboard Viewer, then “ On the Edit menu, click the “delete command.

2. Restart your computer. Only exit the program, do not restart the computer, the program may not be able to return the occupied resources to the system. Please restart your computer to free up system resources.

3. Reduce the number of programs that run automatically. If there are too many programs running automatically when you start Windows, there will not be enough system resources to run other programs even if you restart your computer. Setting Windows does not start too many programs: First, click “ Start → Run, type “ msconfig, click “ OK button, click “ Start tab, clear the program before the program does not need to be started Marquee. Second, click “Start → Run, type & ldquo; sysedit, click & ldquo; OK button, delete “autoexec.bat, “win.ini and “ config.sys file unnecessary self-starting Program line. then restart your computer.

4. Set virtual memory. Insufficient virtual memory can also cause system errors. You can manually configure virtual memory in the System Properties dialog box to move the default location of virtual memory to other disk partitions with large available space.

5. The application has bugs or corruption. Some applications are designed to have bugs or have been destroyed. They may conflict with Windows or compete for resources at runtime, resulting in insufficient system resources. There are two ways to do this: one is to upgrade the problem software, and the other is to uninstall the software and modify other similar software.

6. Memory optimization software. Many memory optimization software, such as RAM Idle and Memo Kit, can automatically clear the clipboard, release system resources that have not been released by the shutdown program, reorganize virtual memory files (Win386.swp), etc., eliminating manual operations. Trouble, achieving the goal of automatically releasing system resources.

7. Leave enough space for the hard drive. Because Windows 9x needs to use hard disk as virtual memory, this requires the hard disk to reserve a certain free space to ensure the normal operation of the program. In general, the minimum space should be more than 100MB, otherwise it will appear that the blue screen is likely to be related to the remaining space of the hard disk. In addition, the hard disk has too many fragments, and it is easy to cause the blue screen to appear. Therefore, it is necessary to perform defragmentation at regular intervals.
