What if the Windows Install service is gone?

Q: I have recently encountered a confusing problem. When I installed the installation file in the format of MSI, I was prompted not to start the Windows Install service. I went to the service list to find Windows Install, but let me be big. The spectacle is that I have searched all the lists, but there is no Windows Install, but I can see the Windows Install service on other computers. What should I do?

A: The Windows Install service is gone. It does cause some trouble, because large and medium-sized enterprise software like MS Office relies on this service to install. Therefore, you can click Start → Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt, type: msiexec /unregister, and then type msiexec /regserver. It should be solved.

If this doesn't work, it is recommended to go to the Microsoft site to download a new version of Windows Installer.
