The number of Promoted apps will double in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update

What's even more tragic is that Microsoft plans to double the number of Promoted apps in the Start menu in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, which will be launched this summer. More precisely, the number of recommended apps will increase from 5 to 10. At the same time, the number of “fixed” apps (native apps already pinned in the start menu) will drop from 17 to 12.
