Microsoft-qualified Cortana search will only open in the Edge browser

Computer store news: Microsoft continues to expand the Cortana feature on Windows 10, and now Microsoft has restricted some Cortana-related cracks. Specifically, Microsoft requires that Cortana search will only open in the Edge browser. To prevent hackers from using some means to allow users to change Cortana's default search engine, it is detrimental to Microsoft's search experience.

Microsoft explained:

Microsoft said very clearly that this restriction only applies to Cortana search. You can still set your own default search engine and browser on Windows 10. Cortana search will be implemented by default through Bing and Microsoft Edge for a unified experience.
