Box debuts for Win8's Metro Edition client

According to the news, Microsoft has announced SkyDrive support for Windows 8, but this is not the only Win8 cloud storage client. According to Time.com, Network Disk Box has released its own Metro application for Win8; this application was briefly demonstrated at this week's CTIA Wireless Communication Technology Show and is currently in beta.

The Metro version of the Box web client will be released at the same time as the official version of Win8 at the end of the year. But Box should release an earlier version of the app for Microsoft's Win8 Release Preview release in early June. Simon Tan (Box Mobile Product Manager) said that we think Win8 is getting stronger, so we are also making a bet.

The Win8 Metro Edition Box app does not only provide file storage, but also provides users with the ability to share and collaborate on documents. Users can share files via social network or email.
