Microsoft plans to add built-in ad blocking feature to Edge browser

Computer store news: Microsoft has a big plan for Windows 10 Edge browser, including adding built-in ad blocking feature, Microsoft released a roadmap in Build 2016. Involving upcoming new features and improvements, the next version of Edge will bring built-in ad blocking features.

This may offset some ad blocking extensions such as AdBlock Plus. Interestingly, the extension support appears at the top of the list of scheduled features and will be the target for the next release, which means that at the same time we can see two features logging into the public version. We’ve also seen some other interesting content from the slides, and Microsoft is considering integrating some of its features into its latest browsers, including Bing Translate, Sliding Back and Forward Navigation.
