Setup does not accept Windows 10 upgrades are useless Microsoft will harass you every day

Computer shop news: Microsoft is now preparing for upgrading Windows 10 for all kinds of PCs that have not yet been used on Windows 10. First, users should see that we have a Windows 10, and then recommend users to download in Windows Update. Upgrade, Microsoft probably thinks this is not fast enough, so Microsoft has made some changes to Windows 7 and 8.1, in order to allow more users to upgrade to Windows 10.

It is said that the PC that was previously set to no longer receive Windows 10 updates, this setting seems to have been reset recently. It seems that Microsoft has pushed an update for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PC. This update will check every day and confirm that there is no change to this setting.

This news comes from Josh Mayfield, the author of a well-known software GWX Control Panel. Many people may already be familiar with this software. It is for Windows 7/8.1 users and specifically prevents system upgrades. Go to Windows 10.

Mayfield said: "During the Thanksgiving weekend, I started reporting this Windows Update's "AllowOSUpdage’ setting back to a lot of people's PCs. If you find that the settings that allow system upgrades are modified, It will be reset and will be done once a day. In other words, Windows 7 and 8.1 users will receive an update reminder for Windows 10 no matter how they are set up, only manually refuse to upgrade each time. According to Mayfield, Microsoft has pushed this update for Windows 7/8.1 users many times. Even the updated "names have not changed, but the version pushed every time is updated, is a new binary".

It seems that if you want your Windows 7/8.1 system to keep receiving regular Microsoft security updates, you will have to accept the various harassment that Microsoft recommends that you upgrade Windows 10.
