Win10 Edge browser extension added in summer 2016

Computer Store News: According to Microsoft's earlier news, the extension function of Win10 Edge browser will be added in the later half of this year. According to this arrangement, this feature should be included in the upcoming Windows 10 TH2 release. However, so far, the Win10 preview version of the Edge browser has not seen this feature, so I want to use the Edge browser extension function in the official version of Win10 in November.

According to information from foreign media sources, Microsoft plans to include the Edge browser extension in the Win10 RedStone update launched in the summer of 2016. If the message is true, Windows Insider members may receive a Win10 preview push with the Edge browser extension at the end of 2015 or early 2016. But all this is only speculation, because Microsoft has not announced any relevant news.

The Edge Browser Extension is Microsoft's "heavyweight" feature for this new product, which is said to be an extension to Chrome and other browser extensions. Microsoft said that developers using common Web technologies such as JavaScript and HTML will be able to apply extensions to other browsers to the Edge browser. This process requires only minor changes to the code, even without any change.

It seems that it will take some time for the technology to solve this function, because from the beginning of 2015, Microsoft has mentioned this to the public, and users have not seen any progress on this feature. If it can be completed next summer, it is still half a year away from the final release. It can be seen that this feature is really “not easy to come”.
