Microsoft Surface Pro 3 minor problem has been fixed

Computer Store News: One change in the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet is that its Windows button is moved from the bottom to the right. The reason for this change is the new Type Shell of the Surface Pro 3, which overlies the Windows button when it is connected to the bottom of the device.

But the button shifts to the right, which also brings a new problem: the reviewer will accidentally touch this button when using the stylus.

Microsoft has therefore offered a new Surface Pro 3 shell to Penny Arcade's Gabe to solve the problems caused by Windows button changes. In the follow-up post, Gabe said that Microsoft provided a test device to solve the problems he encountered.

This solution is quite simple. When the device detects that the display is using the stylus, the Windows button will not work. When the user no longer uses the stylus, the button will be inactive for a few seconds, and the user can select the menu item so that there is no need to worry about the button.

This software change can fix the problem of accidentally touching the Windows button, but Microsoft has not figured out how to implement this option, so this feature is not yet available to the public.
