Win8.1 Update successfully opened Aero

Computer store news: Do not repeat, directly put the method, I believe that some of the friends familiar with DWM this registry item will be very familiar.

Test Platform: Win8.1 Update 9600.16596, Windows 8.1 Update 9600.16606

Tools: Registry Editor

Reference Tutorial:

1. Press the Win key + R key to open the running window, type regedit and press the Enter key (or click OK) to open the Windows 8.1 Registry Editor, as shown below ——

2. In the Registry Manager, expand and navigate to the path in the navigation bar on the left:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows

Click the right mouse button on the left side of Windows, create a new Key in the right-click menu, and name it DWM, as shown below ——

3. Under the string value of “DWM”, create a new Dword (32-bit) value: HideBlur, assign a value of 1, as shown in the following figure ——

4. Logout And re-login, or restart the system, and then you can open Aero visual effects.

Note: After opening Aero, you often encounter problems such as flower screens. Therefore, be cautious about new users. If the screen problem affects the experience, please delete the string value of “DWM”.

Looking back at the multiple betas of the Win8 and Win8.1 eras, you can also open the Aero effects in disguise. So, will this transparency return to Win8.1 2014 Update?

If the Aero Glass effects return to the April Win8.1 2014 Update system, the IT House will also promptly add "One click to open Aero" in the Rubik's cube.
