First, Win8.1 problem set: IE11 problem solving

Windows 8.1 comes with the browser Internet Explorer upgraded to version 11, but the new version of IE has brought a lot of users Trouble, such as Flash video can not be played, web buttons can not be clicked, forums can not post, Thunder can not be used, online banking problems and so on. The three methods below can help you solve most of the problems.

Method 1: Modify the UA string

Since IE11 has changed the long-used UA string (this string is the website recognition user browser), the new string is: Mozilla/5.0 (IE 11.0; Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; .NET4.0E; .NET4.0C; rv: 11.0) Like Gecko, due to this change, many websites have identified IE string IE by mistake. Non-IE browsers, followed by a series of compatibility issues.

Of course, the ultimate solution to this problem is that the website corrects and adds the correct UA string, but it is important to know that many websites are not responding at will. Therefore, when encountering such a website, we can only achieve the purpose of correctly identifying the content of the other website by modifying the UA string of IE11.

There are two specific operations for modifying a UA string. One is temporary. The specific operation is very simple. Just press F12 in IE11. In the new version of the developer tool, select the simulation option. And then select Internet Explorer 8 in the user agent string.

Method 2: Turn off protection mode

You only need to add the problem website to the compatibility view to solve some problems.
