SkyKick Suite Releases

Computer Store News: For Microsoft, it definitely wants more SMBs to use its Office 365 subscription service instead of stand-alone Office 2013 software. Microsoft released a new version of Office 365 Enterprise Edition in February of this year. However, some companies with limited resources found that it is very difficult to migrate Office software to Office 365.

At this time, a new company founded by two former Microsoft team members came into play. The Seattle-based startup, SkyKick, today announced the official release of the SkyKick application suite, and before that, they have tested the beta version of the suite for a year.

SkyKick said that during the test, they have used the kit to help thousands of SMBs migrate to Office 365. The suite consists of three applications: first, WebPlanner, which helps companies make actual migration scenarios; followed by Migration Sync, which helps organizations migrate actual data (email, calendar, contacts, aliases, etc.) from employees and customers to Office 365; finally, Outlook Assistant, which helps businesses configure Outlook clients and other tasks.

As of now, SkyKick has raised a total of $3.7 million. With the increasing number of Microsoft Office 365 users, such services as SkyKick will be more and more popular.
