Microsoft with Windows8 sad

Computer store news: According to the technology news website BusinessInsider reported, according to a leaked document on the HP official website, HP will release its first Chromebook laptop with Google Chrome OS in February this year. HP's cooperation with Google is another major blow to Microsoft. A Chromebook is the abbreviation for a laptop running Google Chrome OS.

This document was removed shortly after it was leaked, but it revealed the detailed launch plan and configuration parameters for the HP Pavilion Chromebook.

This notebook will feature a 1.1 GHz Celeron processor, 2G RAM and 16G SSD, and a 14-inch resolution of 1366X768.

This means that the HP Chromebook will have a larger display size than the Chromebooks already launched by Lenovo, Samsung and Acer. Chromebooks from other vendors are 11.6 inches. Except for this difference, the other configurations are basically the same.

HP officially declined to comment on the device, but according to the records in this document, the product's "silent period" will end on February 17. More information about the device is expected to be made public by then.

Chromebooks use Chrome OS, a free operating system developed by Google based on Linux, to compete directly with Microsoft Windows.

HP and the Google Alliance are a big blow to Microsoft. Recently, Microsoft's relationship with many PC vendors is relatively tight. For example, on Sunday, Acer's chairman Weng Jianren said that Chromebook sales are higher than Windows 8 computers.

A week ago, HP PC business leader Todd · Todd Bradley also said that Windows 8 started less than expected. A major reason for hardware partners' dissatisfaction with Microsoft is that Microsoft has launched its own Surface Windows 8 tablet and PC, directly competing with HP and other PC vendors.

In November of last year, HP became a Platinum member of the Foundation by donating $500,000 to the Linux Foundation. The Linux Foundation is the organizer of Linux and other open source software projects. This gives HP a greater say in Microsoft's biggest competitors. The Linux Foundation now manages multiple projects involving server, PC and smartphone operating systems.
