Microsoft acknowledges Windows RT vulnerability

  

Computer Store News: Yesterday, we reported a large number of Surface user reactions. After installing the latest Surface RT firmware update, the Windows store and Windows update began to strike. Today, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed in a statement that Windows RT did have a problem and promised to fix it in the first week of February.

The following is Microsoft's statement:

“ Some Windows RT users who have installed the latest Surface RT firmware update did have problems installing other updates. More specifically, affected Windows RT devices automatically enter Connected Standby mode as they download updates from Windows Update, causing a broken connection. We are sorry that this issue has caused you inconvenience, but please don't worry, we will fix this in the first week of February. ”

According to the Microsoft statement, we will be welcoming new updates in two weeks. The reason for the current problem is not clear, Microsoft has not announced how many users have been affected.
