HTML5 compatibility: IE8 browser of WP8 beats Android4.0

  


Computer store news According to wmpoweruser report, in March, Windows Phone 8's IE10 browser HTML5 compatibility test score is 298. The latest test scores have been improved by 2 to 300, still ahead of the Android 4.0 browser.

Tests from html5test.com show that Windows Phone 8's IE10 test scores climbed to 300 points, 324 points lower than iOS 5.1 browsers, but 273 points ahead of Android 4.0 browsers. Although this achievement is not so very proud, it is significant for Windows Phone, because IE9 browser scores 138 points in Windows Phone 7.5.



Microsoft will hold a developer summit in San Francisco in late June, speculating that Apollo, the next major update to Windows Phone, may be announced.
