Right-click menu troubles four ways to solve

Do you think that the right-click menu sometimes has some old or long-deleted software still exists, and it is redundant and irritating, so how to solve the trouble of this right-click menu, Xiaobian is your trick.

The first trick: clean up the right click "New" menu because of the constant installation of new applications, the command options under the "New" menu in the right mouse button shortcut menu will be more and more, Sometimes it takes even a little time to wait for them to show up completely. But in fact, in addition to the commonly used options such as new folders, TXT documents, there are many types of files we basically will not be directly created. If you wish to clean up some of the command options under the "New" menu, use the Registry Editor to clean them up with the following settings.

Open the Registry Editor and click to expand the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT] root key, under which you find the subkey containing “ShellNew”. Under each file type subkey, as long as the "subplery key" is included, it will be displayed on the new menu. For example, [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\.txt\\ShellNew] will make "New" "New”→“ ; text file & rdquo; menu command. Therefore, simply change the “ShellNew” subkey under the Unwanted File Type subkey to the “ShellNewOld” subkey to prevent it from appearing in the “New” menu.

The second trick: folding into a multi-level menu

After installing WinRAR, several items will be added to the right-click menu. We will move it to WinRAR's secondary menu: open WinRAR's main window, click “Options →Settings>, in the “Settings" dialog box, click “General” tab, Check the “Layer Right Context Menu” checkbox and click the “OK” button. If your computer's right-click menu has multiple options for other software, find a way to fold them into a multi-level menu.

The third trick: often clean the portal

Take Windows XP (SP2) as an example, some of the options in the right-click menu are not commonly used, or some software has been deleted, but it still occupies Right click menu. To delete these useless right-click menu items, do the following:

Run regedit to open the Registry Editor. Expand the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\*\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers] branch, find the useless items you want to delete, and then delete the right-click menu items you want to clear based on the keywords. For options that are only available in the folder context menu, look under the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Direclory\\shell] and [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Directory\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers] branches. Sometimes there are options in the right-click menu under the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Folder\\shell] and [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Folder\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers] branches. It is best to use the key combination < Ctrl + F & rdquo;, in the search dialog box, enter the keyword in the menu to be deleted, find it and delete it. After the above operation, the right-click menu is much refreshed.

The fourth trick: clean up the content added by the graphics card driver

Run regedit to open the registry editor. Go to [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Directory\\Background\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers], the following sub-item igfxcui is the content added by the Intel graphics driver that appears in the desktop right-click menu. Delete “igfxcui” this sub-item (export first to backup and then delete).

I didn't expect this small right-click menu to have these four methods to solve, mainly because everyone has to go and see, and then try to find a way to use it.
