Completely remove the program icon that has expired

Some programs will automatically display an icon in the taskbar notification area at runtime to indicate that it is executing. In Windows 7, although it is possible to customize whether to display these program icons, it is still uninstalled. The program, as long as it has been in the notification area, will be recorded and stayed.

So how can I completely remove these invalid program icons? Let's take a look at the specific method:

Click on the Start menu, type "Regedit" in the search box and press Enter to open the Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Classes \\Local Settings\\Software\\Microsoft \\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\TrayNotify (In case, just in case, you can export the contents of this part of the registry first: right click on the TrayNotify item, select "Export"), then delete the following "IconStreams" and "PastIconsStream" Key values, press F5 to refresh and exit the Registry Editor. After modification, you can restart the computer or press "Ctrl+Shift+Esc" to bring up the task manager, end the "explorer.exe" process, wait a moment and then click "File/New Task" on the Task Manager and enter " Explorer and make sure that the taskbar reappears and the invalid program icons in the notification area are gone.
