System knowledge: Get the general problem of Windows2003 system

Windows 2003 has been launched for some time, I believe many friends are using it. However, since Windows 2003 was developed for the needs of servers, the default settings of hardware such as sound cards and graphics cards have been processed. Therefore, individual users often encounter some "faults" when they use them. Of course, it is not difficult to solve them.

1. Rough picture when playing movies

Many friends have such "encounters": their computer configuration is quite high, and the graphics card can be automatically recognized and installed when Windows 2003 is installed, but when playing movies The picture is very rough, and the picture quality is still the same after installing the latest version of the graphics card driver. In fact, this is because the default display options of Windows 2003 are not optimized according to the needs of individual users.

★ Solution: Right click on the desktop, go to “Display Properties → Settings → Advanced → Troubleshooting”, drag the “Hardware Acceleration” cursor to the right to “Full”, and then click “OK” "drop out. Then go to “Start → All Programs → Accessories → System Tools → System Information” and select “Tools → DirectX Diagnostic Tool” (since the program collects system information, so you need to wait a little, there may be a splash screen), select the “Display” option. Card, enable the "DirectDraw Acceleration" and "Direct3D Acceleration" items in turn, and then click "Exit".

2. Sound card does not work or the sound is seriously delayed

In Windows 2003, most sound cards can continue to use their drivers in Windows 2000/XP, while older sound cards (such as The DSM S90, etc.) is only manually installed. After installing the sound card driver, it can be sounded normally in Windows 2003 Standard Edition, but in the enterprise version, the system still can't sound, or the sound is seriously lagging when playing games.

★ Solution: Go to “Control Panel → Sound and Audio Control Device”, select the “Audio Service” option, and click “OK”. Go to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, select the Sounds tab, drag the cursor to the right in Acceleration Level to Full Acceleration, click Exit, and finally restart the computer.

3.IE always reminds you of potential security risks

"I always feel that the latest version is the safest. I didn't expect to browse the webpage under Windows 2003. Every time I visit a page, IE will remind you that it is safe. Hidden troubles, asking if you want to continue to visit, it is too inconvenient," often have friends complaining like this. The reason for this problem is that the default security level of IE in Windows 2003 is "high", so although the security is improved, it brings a lot of trouble to our daily Internet.

★ Solution: Start IE, select “Tools→Internet Options” and set the security level to “Medium” in the “Security” tab.

4. System response is slow when running large software

Server and workstation requirements for system resources are different. If we usually run software such as Photoshop, 3DSMAX, etc., the system should be Resource redistribution, modified to a state similar to Windows XP.

★ Solution: Go to "Control Panel → System" and select the "Advanced" tab. In the "Performance" column, click the "Settings" button, select the "Advanced" tab, in the "Processor Plan" and Select "Program" in both "Memory Usage" columns, and finally click "OK" and restart the computer
