Now U disk has been very popular, you can buy 1G for dozens of dollars, and many mobile phone functions also have U disk function, so I want to use other people's computer Copying some files, it is very simple, so there is a great threat to the data inside the computer, in fact, you don't have to worry about this problem in Vista system, we can disable all USB storage devices by setting, and also Let the system only use the specified USB flash drive. Let us introduce the process of setting up.
1. Insert your U disk into the Vista system first, let the system use the U disk normally, then enter the "Control Panel", double-click the "Device Manager", expand the "Portable Device" inside, you can see inside Have your U disk, as shown below:

2, click the right mouse button to select "Properties", click the "Details" tab in the pop-up "Properties" window Then select "Hardware ID" in the device "Properties" drop-down box, the string will appear in the "Value" below, this is the hardware ID of your U disk, copy it and save it (Friendly reminder, not all Devices such as USB flash drives can find this hardware ID).
We also need to copy the hardware ID of "USB Mass Storage Device" in "Universal Serial Bus Controller", expand the "Universal Serial Bus Controller" list in "Device Manager" and find "USB Large Capacity" "Storage device", click on the "Details" tab in its "Properties" window, copy its hardware ID and save it.
After finding the hardware ID of the USB flash drive, it can be implemented by Group Policy. Press the shortcut key "Win+R" to open the "Run" dialog box, enter "gpedit.msc" to bring up the Group Policy window, expand "Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Device Installation → Device Installation Restriction", double click On the right side, "Do not install devices that are not described by other policy settings", select "Enabled" in the pop-up window, and then click the "OK" button to set it to disable USB devices that are not described by the policy.
