How to disable the AutoPlay feature in Vista

This article describes how to disable autoplay in Windows Vista, and no longer pops the AutoPlay dialog box for the inserted media device or CD.
Operation Steps
Turning off the automatic playback function under Windows Vista is actually very simple. Click “Start” → “Control Panel” and click “Automatically play CD or other media”. As shown in Figure 1 Autoplay CD or other media:

In the AutoPlay window, don't check "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" Checkbox and then click the "Save" button. Figure 2 shows the use of autoplay for all media and devices:

After setting, inserting any media device or disc will no longer pop up for autoplay Dialog.
