Energy-saving mode under Vista, energy saving through overnight downloads

The overnight download is done by many netizens. If you haven't done it, you may also do it. This article describes how to use the energy-saving method under Vista. It can also save energy through downloading.
Windows' "away" mode is similar to standby (or hibernation), it can turn off the power of most devices to save power, and can quickly return to work when needed. However, the departure mode is more advanced than the standby mode. In the "away" state, audio-visual processing, BT downloading, file copying and other operations are still in progress, which is really power-saving and work-free.
Setting the exit mode under XP requires an additional patch. And this feature has been embedded in Vista, all we have to do is activate it.
Click "Start", enter "regedit" (without quotes) in the Start Search box, press Enter, and then open HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Session in the open Registry Editor Manager\\Power, create a new item under it called "AwayModeEnabled" (DWord 32-bit) and set its value to 1. Restart to make it effective, then click "Sleep" in the Vista "Start" menu to enter the exit mode.
Note: The exit mode requires the hardware device to support advanced power management. After this time, the hard disk is changed to never (ie 0), the wireless adapter is changed to high performance (this may be the network card, this cannot be turned off), power setting After turning off the monitor, go to sleep and change it to "never", because this sleep is not leaving, otherwise the hard disk power is turned off when you pass BT, and you can't download it. After testing, after entering the exit mode, Thunder is still downloading, QQ is not dropped.
