Vista system has completed mainstream support

  

Yesterday was the last day of the mainstream mainstream support phase of Windows Vista. From today, Windows Vista will enter the extended support level, and Microsoft will no longer provide free feature updates for it. It only provides paid technical support services for users. Microsoft will still provide security patches during the extended support phase.

If you are still using Windows Vista, what does this message mean? Microsoft will tell you that the end of mainstream support means you should upgrade to Windows 7 system. . However, in fact, Vista operation has a life span of five years, and its Extended Support phase is as of April 11, 2017.

In the Mainstream Support phase, Microsoft provides a free regular updates, including security fixes and other patches, enter the Extended Support phase, security patches is still free, but must pay the other updates.
