Another way to view memory usage under VISTA

  

In VISTA system, in addition to viewing the memory usage status in the system properties, you can also use MEM at the command prompt to check the memory status.

MEM command parameters are the following:
C: \\ Users \\ lenovo & gt; mem /
Displays the amount of used and free memory in your system

?. MEM [/PROGRAM |  /DEBUG |  /CLASSIFY]



/PROGRAM or /P Displays status of programs currently loaded in memory
Chinese explanation: status display program being loaded into the memory. You cannot use the /program switch with the /debug switch or the /classify switch. You can abbreviate /program to /p.




/DEBUG or /D Displays status of programs, internal drivers, and other
information

/CLASSIFY or /C Classifies programs by memory usage. Lists the size of
programs, provides a summary of memory in use, and lists
largest memory block available.

This switch item lists the size of each program in decimal and hexadecimal notation, and provides a summary of memory usage and lists the largest memory blocks available.
