How to create a power plan in Windows Vista

  

Creating a power plan in Windows Vista can help save energy and maximize system performance. Settings for any power plan for Windows Vista systems include the following three default schedules:

Steps

Click “Start”→“Control Panel”→“System and Maintenance ", click the <quo;Power Options” icon.

Click on the "Create Power Plan" option (Figure 1).

In & ldquo; create a power plan & rdquo; window, select the program you want to create the type of the nearest plans.

For example, if you plan to save energy, select the “Energy Saver” program. In the "Plan name" box, enter the name of the plan, then click the “Next” button (Figure 2).
