Solve the silent problem of video under QQ video under Vista

In the Windows XP era, the author was most impressed by the use of Super Jieba (or Kingsoft Shadowmaster) to play movies, and then use other software to chat (or watch movies), these applications become "dumb" Can't make a sound. I did not expect this to happen under Windows Vista.

After a day, after I chatted with my friends on QQ, I opened KMPlayer and watched "Spider-Man 3" and found that "Spider-Man" became a "deaf-mute" without any sound from the system. issue. Check the speaker cable, etc. are not abnormal, is it KMPlayer exclusive audio channel? This inevitably reminds me of the super solution. However, after the inspection, no abnormalities were found.

After some toss, I finally figured out the reason for the incident, which was originally caused by improper setting of the audio properties of the system. The solution is as follows:

Right click on the volume icon in the system tray (lower right corner of the screen), select "Sound", switch to the "Play" option in the pop-up dialog box, and then double-click the "Speaker" icon (Figure 1 ).

After that, another dialog box will pop up. Please switch to the "Advanced" tab and uncheck the "Allow the application to monopolize the device". Yes (Figure 2).

Tip:

When the user cancels the "Allow application to monopolize the device" check, the "Give exclusive mode application priority" below The check box will be automatically cancelled without the user having to set it separately.
