Desktop How to disable Windows Vista Mobile Center

In your Vista operating system, press Win + X, is there a thing?

Yes, Windows Mobile Center! What is the Windows Mobile Center? What is this for?

Vista's Windows Mobile Center is also a very considerate tool, including several of the most commonly used mobile PC settings:

1, display brightness
2, volume
3, battery Status
4, wireless network
5, screen rotation
6, external display
7, synchronization center
8, demo settings. If you don't like it or feel useless, you can turn it off by yourself.

By the way: If your PC is not a notebook, you don't have this feature, and depending on the configuration, not all of the above features will be displayed.

If you are a desktop computer, you can disable it.

1, Win key + R open the run window, run regedit.exe open the registry editor

2, locate the branch in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software \\microsoft\\Windows

\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\MobilityCenter

Create a new 32-bit DWORD value and name it NoMobilityCenter. Finally, set its value to 1, as shown below:
