When you input a large number of digits with decimal places in an Excel XP worksheet, according to the normal input method, you usually input it directly according to the original size. For example, if you want to enter 0.05 in the cell, we will put " 0.05" Enter the form as it is. However, if you need to enter a number of numbers with a decimal point, and then input according to the above method, the work efficiency will be reduced. Today, Xiaobian teaches you two moves to improve office efficiency. Excel quickly enters decimals skills. Hurry up and go.
In the work, I have to enter a large number of data sheets with three decimal places. The data range is 0.001~100.000, due to most The data set is between 0.001 and 0.010, so inputting a data requires five keystrokes, and the entry speed is relatively slow. Can you improve the input speed? After research, I found that by redefining the data format, the input efficiency can be greatly improved, such as input "0.001", just enter "1", the following is the specific implementation method and steps. :
Method 1: Automatically set the decimal point
1. Select the cell that needs to input data;
2. On the “Tools” menu, click “Options ", and then click &ldquo ; Edit & rdquo; tab;
3. Check the "Automatically set decimal point" check box;
4. In the "Number of digits" box, enter the number of decimal places, in this case, enter “ 3”;
5. Click the “OK" button to start entering data.
Edit Tip: You can enter a positive number in the "digits" box, or you can enter a negative number. For example, if you type “3” in the “numbers" box and type “1” in the cell, the value is “0.001”. If you type “-3” in the "digits" box, then type “1” in the cell, then the value is “1000”; entered before selecting the “automatically set decimal point” The number is not affected by the number of decimal places.
