Q: Windows XP cannot be started now. Prompt "Windows cannot start because of the corruption or loss of the following files: \\system32\\hal.dll. Please re-install the copy of the above file. & rdquo; How to solve?
A: The fault is caused by damage or loss of hal.dll file. Solution: Insert the Windows XP installation CD, in the "Recovery Console", unzip the HAL file matching your computer hardware in the i386 directory on the CD to Windows\\system32, and change the file name to Hal.dll can be. The HAL file is shown in Table 1.
