How to backup the hardware configuration file to solve the startup failure

For the majority of friends with strong hands-on ability, the computer hardware will be replaced and modified frequently, which may cause the system to fail to start or run abnormally. And "hardware configuration file" can guide the system to load the correct driver when the hardware changes, then we can use the "hardware configuration file" to restore the previous hardware configuration.
For example, some older applications (especially the old version of the game) do not support dual-core CPUs, you can enter the "system BIOS" to close a core, let the program run normally in a single core. When you need to re-open dual-core in the future, you can boot the system normally with the hardware configuration file of the dual-core runtime that was backed up. Therefore, it is recommended that you back up the “hardware configuration file” every time you install or modify the hardware, which can easily solve many system startup problems caused by hardware configuration.
The steps for backup are as follows:
Right click on the "My Computer" button, select the "Properties" command in the shortcut menu that pops up, open the "System Properties" dialog box, click &ldquo "Hardware" tag, click on the "Hardware Profile" button in the window that appears, open the "Hardware Profiles" dialog box, in the "Available Hardware Profiles" list is displayed in the local computer For a list of available hardware profiles, in the “Hardware Profile Selection” area, select a hardware profile that is called at system startup. To back up the file, click the “Copy” button, which is open. In the Copy Configuration File dialog box, enter a new file name in the “to” file box and click the “OK” button.
This is a backup of the hardware configuration file. In the future, during the system startup process, you will see an interface that allows you to select the “Hardware Profile”, and then we can select the “Hardware Configuration File” that matches the current computer hardware configuration.
