The experience of the rookie-level netizens' own hands-on system (1)

For those prawn-level characters, installing the system is not a thing at all. Just like installing software, keep on "the next step" and occasionally need to set it up briefly! But for rookie-level friends, installing the system is simply an impossible task. Some people may not even think about one day they will install the system themselves.

Today, we will use Windows XP as an example to tell everyone about the experience of installing systems, and hope to help the rookie.

I. Preparation before installing the system

First of all, I have to figure out which disk to install the system on, and then sort the disk. The sorting mentioned here is to save the useful files in other hard disk partitions to prevent accidental deletion when formatting. Also, if the driver disk of your computer hardware cannot be found, it is recommended that you use the tool software to back up the driver. Super rabbits and Windows optimization masters can do this.

Need to remind everyone that there are two places that are easily overlooked when transferring data: "My Documents" and "Desktop", the things in these two places are generally in the system disk, Don't forget to save the files inside.

Another thing to note is the browser "Favorites". It is usually stored in the C:\\Documents and Settings directory. There is a folder named after your machine login name. When you open it, you will see the favorites. , copy to another disk. Here Xiaobian recommends that you use a browser with the "Network Favorites" feature, such as Sogou browser, Maxthon browser. As long as you register an account, they can synchronize the contents of the favorites to the web server, no matter how many times the system is installed or manually backed up.

After doing all of the above, you can basically start loading the system.

Restart your computer and press the DEL key to enter the BIOS setup. Some people don't know when to press the DEL button here, then tell you a stupid way, just restart, just keep pressing. Also, because of the differences in motherboard manufacturers, the shortcut keys to enter the BIOS are also different. Some are F2, and some are F10. Generally, there are prompts at the top or bottom of the screen when booting.

Don't change it after entering the BIOS, because the things inside are very important. If you make a mistake, you may not even get into the system. We only need to change the order of the drive when the computer starts.

It's hard to say how to find this, because the BIOS settings will vary from motherboard to motherboard. Generally, under the BOOT tab, it is ok to start the computer with an optical drive. When the BIOS is set, there will be related prompts on the right. The rookie can follow the prompts. Don't rush to restart after you have made it, put the installation disk into the CD-ROM drive, press F10 to save and restart.

At this time, pay attention to observation. When starting, the computer will detect the CD-ROM drive first. A line of characters appears below the screen, instead of flashing like usual. It means that you can press any key to enter the CD. Click and hear the CD-ROM drive to start reading the disk, the installation system will officially begin!

Second, the precautions in the installation system

After starting to install the system, pay attention to the prompts on the screen, first need the user to choose whether to install a new operating system or repair, choose to install a new operating system , then press F8 to agree to those agreements, the drive letter selection interface appears.

Use the keyboard up and down keys to move the cursor to the drive letter you want to install, press the “D” key, the system will prompt that deleting the disk will delete all the data, regardless of it, then press the “L” key. confirm delete. When finished, the screen returns to the previous interface. Then select "Install Windows XP on the current disk" and press Enter. The system prompts you to format the disk. Select "Fast NTFS mode" format, the format interface appears at this time, wait for the progress bar to 100% when the computer starts to automatically mount the installation file in the CD-ROM drive, about 8 minutes (depending on the drive speed), complete After the system automatically restarts.

Note that the installation disk in the CD-ROM drive should be taken out at this time in order to avoid automatic reading after restarting.

After rebooting, enter the installation interface again. At this time, install the disk and put it in and install it. You don't need any settings. Click “Next”. However, there is a process of entering the serial number in the middle.

This process is about 40 minutes, during which the screen will display some information about Windows XP related features, you can pay attention to it. After the completion, the system prompts to remove the installation disk. After you take it out, restart it, and enter the BIOS to change the boot sequence back to the hard disk boot (this step can also be changed, it has no effect on the usual use), basically complete the installation!
