Win XP system remote shutdown "Shutdown" command

After the unit is out of work, there are often many employees who do not turn off the computer. The leader asks to solve this problem after discovering it. I think it would be time consuming to go to the offices to check it out, so I want to shut down all the machines through one computer. Because all office machines are installed with Windows XP, I thought of using the remote shutdown "Shutdown" command. The specific method is as follows:

Step 1. Click “Start→Run”, enter “Gpedit.msc” in the dialog box, and click [OK] to open the “Group Policy Editor”.

Step 2. On the left side of the Group Policy Editor window, open Computer Configuration→Windows Settings→Security Settings→Local Policies→User Rights Assignment. In the right window, select Forced Shutdown from Remote System. ". In the pop-up dialog box, only members of the “Administrators” group are authorized to remotely shut down; click the [Add User or Group] button at the bottom of the dialog box, and then enter “Heyongsheng” (admin account) in the pop-up dialog box. ), and then click [OK].

Step 3. At this time, a “Heyongsheng” user is added in the attribute “Forcibly Shutdown from Remote System”, click [OK], and finally close the “Group Policy Editor” window.

After performing the above operations on the computers of each office, we granted the remote shutdown permission to the "Heyongsheng" user of each computer. When I get off work, I just need to do the following on my machine:

Step 1 Click “Start→Run”, enter “Shutdown -I” in the dialog box, and “Remote Shutdown” will be displayed on the screen. Dialog (Figure 1).

Step 2 Click the [Exit] button and a dialog box for finding a computer appears.

Step 3 Click the [Start Search] button and all the computers in this network will appear (Figure 2).

Step 4 Hold down the Ctrl key, select the computer to be turned off with the mouse, and finally click [OK]. The computer to be shut down appears in the Remote Shutdown dialog box.

Step 5 Select a suitable reason for closing in the drop-down box of the option, then click [OK] (Figure 3).
