PSPR Green Edition easily retrieves Windows system login password

When you forget your Windows XP account password, we can go to the Windows console to reset your account and password. However, this "violent" cracking method will replace the original password with a new password, so how do you actually "retrieve" the original password? Just leave this seemingly incomplete task to Proactive System Password Recovery (hereafter referred to as PSPR, formerly Advanced Windows Password Recovery).

PSPR is a Windows system password recovery software, used to restore all Windows system login passwords, including identity confirmation when entering the system, screen saver password, Internet and dial-up passwords, etc., password decryption speed, High accuracy. It can run not only in the normal mode of Windows XP, but also in the Windows PE environment.

However, many times we need to run the PSPR green version in the Windows PE environment to retrieve the Windows system login password. The green version of making it is very simple. First install PSPR to Windows XP in normal mode. After installation, copy its installation directory, which becomes the PSPR green version. Next, save the prepared PSPR green version to the boot flash that can boot into the Windows PE environment.

1. Retrieve the Windows XP account password from the local

Set the computer's startup preferences to flash boot. After entering the Windows PE environment, run the PSPR on the flash.

Click the "Main Menu" on the left side of the PSPR interface, select the "Restore Hashes" button, and select "Manual Decryption". Then manually specify the SAM registration file and system registration file for Win XP. The drive letter and path of the security registration file. Generally, Windows XP is installed on the C drive. You need to specify C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\config\\SAM, C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\config\\SYSTEM, C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\ Config\\SECURITY These three files.

Run Interface

To view and retrieve all user accounts and passwords, you need to click the "NT hash option" button under "Options", under the right interface that appears. Cancel the checkmark before the "View only recovery heshes" item, because by default PSPR will not display all user passwords, but only non-admin users, then click the "Apply" button.

Options

After setting, click “Main Menu” again to return to “Restore Hashes” interface, then you can click the “Manual Decrypt” button in the lower right corner. You can get all the accounts and passwords of Win XP soon.

Then restart the computer, enter the user account and password, you can enter Windows XP smoothly.

Second, "Retrieve" Windows XP account password in different places

If you can't find the boot flash that can boot into the Windows PE environment, you can use the normal boot flash to start the computer with the login password forgotten. After the startup is successful, copy the SAM, SYSTEM, and SECURITY files from the system disk to the flash memory, and then copy them to a computer that can run XP normally. Then run PSPR and put these three in the interface of Figure 2. The path of the file points to the folder you just copied, and then click the "Manually Decrypt" button, you will get the Windows XP account and password soon. Is this more convenient?

The above operation was successfully tested with Windows XP. In fact, PSPR can retrieve the login passwords of Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003 and other systems, and also have the installation time of Windows system. , ID and serial number information, Microsoft Office and other Microsoft installation software D and serial number, find screen protection password, .NET passport password, RAS and dial password, shared resource password, SYSKEY startup password, stored in the cache Features such as voucher password, wireless (WEP and WPA-PSK) encryption keys. It also shows the password hidden under the asterisk. Very powerful, it is a good assistant for us to maintain the computer.
