5. Program/software shortcut function

Considering the machine habits, combined with the running characteristics and calling frequency of various application software, we can store all software shortcuts in four different ways. The place, not only to ensure the convenience of software calls, but also not occupy the hard disk space. The four places are: A. "The right mouse button environment menu"; B. "Start -> program" item; C. "Computer desktop" and D. "Taskbar --> Quick Launch Bar" .

Whether it is a program with a very high frequency of calling, or a program that can be automatically called through a file association, or even a program with a relatively deep path and a low calling frequency, we all hope to be able to start at the beginning-- They are seen in the >Programs item. In particular, the popular green software claims to require only copy and delete, without the need to install and uninstall, which means that their installation, uninstallation and use do not affect the registry, leaving traces and garbage. For these green software that does not produce "pollution", we should add their shortcuts to the "Start--> Program".

If we do not arrange the shortcut keys according to certain rules, then when the number of shortcut keys of the program reaches a certain level, the shortcut keys in the "Start--> Program" item will be very confusing. It is not possible to quickly find the program you need, so that the shortcut keys are not fast. Therefore, we should classify the "general directory--> subdirectory--> shortcut" as if the file is stored, and ensure that the program with a particularly high frequency of calling is arranged at the first level, juxtaposed with the general directory, and the program with the next frequency is called. Arranged at the second level, juxtaposed with the subdirectory... or the program at the first level can be placed in the "taskbar--> quick launch bar", the program at the second level can be placed on the desktop... We can find the programs we need within three levels, and we will unify the four places where the shortcuts are stored.

6. Input Devices

The input devices we discuss here include mouse, keyboard, stylus/input board, scanner, etc.

When we use the mouse normally, it is often set to the default mode, that is: click the left button for selection, double-click the left button for "open /execute", right click is the pop-up environment menu, a good The mouse used is often left-handed scrapped, but the right button is intact. In order to extend the life of the mouse, we recommend that you set the Windows desktop to the web style in "Explorer --> View -> Folder Options", which is selected when the mouse points to the file option. When clicked, it is "open/execute". When the mouse is moved to an option, it becomes a hand type, and the option is underlined. In this case, we can perform the "execute" operation with a click of the mouse, which increases the click life of the mouse. .

As an input device, the use of the mouse is quite flexible, but it is impossible to perform "all" operations, we have to work with the more basic input device - the keyboard for complete operation. If you want to do computer operations more efficiently, try using some of the keyboard combinations (such as ctrl+c, ctrl+v, ctrl+s).

Tools such as stylus and tablet are also an input device, but I don't like this guy very much, although they advertise how much they have, even the mouse and keyboard. All kinds of Chinese and English input methods are replaced, but I always think that they are flashy.

7. Viewing Computer Resources

When looking at file resources on your computer, we recommend that you use the Explorer instead of My Computer on your computer desktop. Although both of them can easily view the resources in your computer, "My Computer" uses the top-down, partial-to-layer decomposition method, and each step down to a level. Open a window. The file resources in the window you see are all in the same level, so it is more troublesome to access files of different disks and different levels.

In the Explorer, similar access is much more convenient. Because it uses a method of "left and right frame separation, content comparison display, left side is the overall structure, the right side is partial content, the file tree is arranged, the folder is expanded item by item", and the "parent-child relationship is clear, the level is clear, and the structure is clear. Features such as easy switching and flexible jumping are very convenient for cross-level file access.

When viewing file resources, we want to be able to see all types of files, including system files and hidden files, display the full path in the title bar of the window and can appear when the mouse points to the folder Tip message. These settings can be done in "Explorer --> View -> Folder Options -> View", although not very simple, but I believe that you can find the corresponding options, no longer here Narration.

8. Adjusting resident memory program items

In the Windows operating system, the system will automatically load some programs after booting, and will be resident in the memory. We can meet the requirements by editing or modifying the "Start-->Program--> Startup" menu and the "Start-->Run-->msconfig.exe--> Startup" option. By editing the former, we can add and delete software that needs to be started with Windows. For the latter, we can use the checkbox to make appropriate choices or give up (no added functionality) to ensure firewall and anti-virus software. The real-time scanning function, E-mail monitoring software, and memo software are always resident in the memory after the computer is started. For large applications that consume more memory and machine performance, I recommend that you don't have to start with Windows startup. Only when you need to use them, we will manually start them. Here you must follow a good, sufficient, The principle of application, because our machine hardware and performance always lag behind our requirements.
