Most Windows vulnerabilities can be solved by configuration rules

On Monday, BeyondTrust's latest report shows that 90% of Windows 7 vulnerabilities can be resolved through configuration permissions, not patches. In lower versions of Windows, more than half of the vulnerabilities can be eliminated by similar means.
They analyzed more than 200 vulnerabilities in Microsoft's 75 security bulletins and made the above conclusions. Usually, Windows 7 users will work under administrator privileges, and standard users cannot install application software. Even UAC brings it difficult to solve difficult problems.
