Turn off the annoying notification feature in Windows XP SP2 completely

I have been using Windows XP (SP2) for a while, and I always feel that its "notification function" is a bit annoying. Need us to close it.

1. Off "insufficient disk space" notification feature

When the disk drive capacity is less than 200MB, Windows XP will pop up "insufficient disk space" message. Close method: Run the "regedit" command to open the registry editor, add an item name "Explore r" under the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftware Microsoft WindowsCurrentVersionPol icies" branch (if there is no need to add), add a DWORD value "NoLowDis" in the "Explorer" kSpaceChecks", set the value to "1".

2. Close the "new program installed" notifications

right-click on the taskbar and select "Properties" in the pop-up window, select the "Start Menu", click on "Customize" button , then select "Advanced" and remove the "√" in front of "Highlighting the newly installed program".

3. close "error reporting"

on the "My Computer" right click "Advanced", click "Error Reporting" in select "Properties" →, select "Disable error reporting "Yes.

4. close the "Security Center" notifications

open the "Security Center" in the "Control Panel" click on the left window of the "Change 'Security Center' alerts me", the All three of the "√" can be removed.

5. Close the IE browser "pop-up blocker," the notification feature

open the IE browser, select menu bar "Tools Pop-up Blocker" → "Pop-up Blocker Settings ", remove the "play sound when popping up the pop-up window" and "display the information bar when blocking pop-ups" in front of the "√".
