XP: Can't wake up after hibernation.

One day, the author was pulled by a friend, saying that his computer has a strange phenomenon recently, that is, every time the computer is in standby, it is always necessary to restart to recover. Annoying, ask me what is going on here? What should I do?

According to the fault phenomenon, I first suspect that the problem lies in the system, so I will not install it again, reinstall Windows XP, I thought, the problem is actually so simple to rule out, when it is triumphant, never In a few days, my friend’s phone called again, saying that the wake-up wake-up problem had happened again, so I only came to this computer with Windows XP again. Ready to look carefully, in the case of a mouse click, slow keyboard wake-up invalid, the author accidentally pressed the Power button, the strange thing is that the computer actually magically returned to the long-lost desktop, the author suddenly realized.

The power mode of the original BIOS setting is S1 and S3. The mode of S3 is similar to the mode of hibernation. In the system without hibernation, the motherboard can be supported. The friend sets it in the BIOS. It is S3 (STR), and the main board has turned on the sleep function of the power saving mode, but this function is to be restored when the switch is pressed, but when the S1 mode is selected, it can be restored to the old mode similar to Windows 98. Now! If you don't do it, set the mode to S1 immediately. At this point, troubleshoot.
