Fully tap the operation of XP broadband potential

Network speed has always been pursued by our system users, but our XP system will limit our 20% broadband speed in order to maintain its stability and security. This is a waste for us. So, is there any way to recover these wasted resources from the system? How can we fully exploit the potential of broadband to increase our network speed again?

Steps to tap broadband potential:

1. Click Start → Run, type: gpedit.msc, and click the “OK” button to see the “Group Policy” window in Figure 1.

2, under the "Computer Configuration" project, click Start: Administrative Template - Network - QoS Packet Scheduler; then on the right side of the window, find "Limited Retainable Bandwidth" For items, right-click the item; in the pop-up menu, click “Properties", and you will see the "Restrict Bandwidth Properties" window shown in Figure 2.

3, in the "Settings" tab we can see: WindowsXP system default "bandwidth limit" value is 20%. Change it to 0 or a smaller number such as 5%. Click the <; Enabled& rdquo; radio button; then click the “OK" button to save the new settings to your computer.

Just need the above simple three-step setup, you can fully release the broadband resources hidden by the XP system, so that we can fully utilize these speeds to improve our Internet speed.
