How to make the XP system automatically restart in the crash state

In the computer, it is inevitable that you will encounter a computer crash, or prompt to stop responding information. Usually, we press the “Reset” or “Ctr-lAlt-Del” key to restart the computer. Solve the problem. It’s inevitable that the number of times is always troublesome. Maybe we can consider letting the computer restart automatically.

We can use the registry editor of WinXP system to achieve our wishes. The following is an automatic restart in both cases when the computer is deadlocked and when the resource manager crashes.

The first case: automatic restart when the system is deadlocked

1. First, we click on the <;start” menu, select →“run”, type“REGEDIT” And enter.

2. Open the Registry Editor, locate and expand the [HKEY_LOCAL_MacHINE system CurrentControlSetCrash Control] branch, and find "AutoReboot" in the right window.

3. It should be noted here that if you do not find “AutoReboot”. We can create a new key and change its value to “1”.

4. Finally, launch the Registry Editor and restart the computer once, and it will automatically restart when the system crashes.

The second case: "Resource Manager" automatically restarts when crashing

First, let's introduce the "resource manager" crash, which is actually ours. In the usual situation, for example, the desktop icon, the taskbar cannot be displayed, the mouse disappears, and the AltTab key combination cannot be used to switch the window.

Next, we need to open the registry editor, expand the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionWinlogon] branch, and find "AutoRestartShell" in the right window.

Finally, the same thing to note is that the first case is not found, “AutoRestartShell”. We can create a new key and change its value to “1”. Restart the computer to complete the setup.

If you are experiencing problems with the computer in the XP system, if you feel that the button is too much trouble, then try the steps to let the system automatically restart. I believe that the automatic is definitely better than you. Manually come to make you feel comfortable.
