Explain specifically the role of security mode on the system

If you ask everyone what security mode is, I think many users will say that when the system goes wrong, you can enter the place to solve the system problem. In fact, this is just a rough explanation. What is the sacred way of security mode? Today, this tutorial will tell you about it.

To enter the safe mode, start the computer and press the F8 key (or hold down the Ctrl key while booting the computer) before the system enters the Windows splash screen. In the boot options menu that appears, Select “Safe Mode”.

Start your computer in safe mode. So what are the uses of the security model? Let's take a look at it.

1. Fix system failure

If Windows is not stable or does not start properly, don't worry about installing the system first, try restarting the computer and switching to safe mode. After restarting the computer, has the system been restored?

This method is very effective if it is caused by a problem with the registry, because Windows can be automatically repaired when it starts in safe mode. Registry problem, after starting Windows successfully in safe mode, it can usually be started in normal mode (Normal).

2.Restore System Settings

If the user is installing new software or changing some settings, the system will not start properly, and you need to enter safe mode to resolve it. If the new software is installed, please uninstall the software in safe mode. If some settings are changed, such as the display resolution setting is beyond the display range of the display, resulting in a black screen, you can change it back after entering safe mode. Put a screen saver with a password in the “Startup” menu. If you forget the password, the computer will not operate properly and you can enter the safe mode change.

3.Delete stubborn files

When we delete some files or clear the contents of the recycle bin under Windows, the system sometimes prompts “some files are being used and cannot be deleted”. The words, interestingly, usually these files are not being used, so is it necessary to let these files occupy our hard disk forever? Please do not worry, restart the computer, and press F8 to enter safe mode at startup, try Delete those stubborn files and empty the recycle bin to see, no more! Originally Windows has given up on the protection of these files, you can delete them.

4. Thoroughly remove the virus

Now the virus is getting more and more every day, and the anti-virus software is updated every day. However, in Windows normal mode, sometimes it is not possible to clean the virus cleanly and thoroughly, because they are very likely to cross-infect, and some anti-virus programs can not run under DOS. At this time, of course, we can also boot the system to safe mode. Make Windows only load the most basic drivers, so it is more thorough and cleaner to kill the virus.

5.Disk Defragmentation

During the defragmentation process, other programs cannot be run, because the defragmentation program will automatically restart whenever other programs perform disk read and write operations. Start, and generally when you start Windows normally, the system will load some automatically started programs, sometimes these programs are not easy to manually close, often causing interference to the defragmentation program.

In this case, we should restart the computer and enter safe mode. Safe mode will not start any automatic startup program, which can ensure the smooth defragmentation of the disk!

Knowing what the security model is all about, how to use it, in fact, this is also a powerful feature, as long as you make good use of it, I hope to help everyone.
