Why can't Windows XP system reinstall IE?

Q: I feel that my IE browser has some problems and I want to reinstall it. Why does Windows XP always refuse to reinstall it?
Answer: In Windows XP, the default state is that you cannot reinstall IE. If you have to reinstall it because of a file failure, you can use the following method. Insert the Windows XP installation CD, in the "Start → Run" window input "rundll32.exe setupapi, InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\\windows\\inf\\ie.inf”, you can reload IE after the carriage return (assuming Windows Installed in C:\\windows).
