Winmgmt.exe error solution

Symptoms
When you start your computer, the following error message may appear:
Winmgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.
This error message appears approximately every 30 seconds.
Cause
This behavior occurs when the files in the %SystemRoot%\\System32\\Wbem\\Repository folder are corrupted. This error message repeats because Winmgmt.exe polls these files at intervals of 30 seconds to 60 seconds.
Solution
To resolve this issue, delete and then re-create the files in the %SystemRoot%\\System32\\Wbem\\Repository folder:
Right-click My Computer on the desktop, and then click Manage.
Under "Services & Applications", click Services, then close and stop the Windows Management Instrumentation service.
Delete all files in the %SystemRoot%\\System32\\Wbem\\Repository folder. (Create a backup copy of these files before deleting them.)
Open "Services & Applications", click Services, then open and start the Windows Management Instrumentation service. When the service is restarted, these files are recreated based on the information provided in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\WBEM\\CIMOM\\Autorecover MOFs
Note: Some programs do not host them Format (MOF) files are added to this list, in which case regenerating the WMI database can cause errors or failures in those programs and may require more troubleshooting for their specific WMI requirements.
