WindowsXP system computer local connection is missing how to get back?

  

Every Windows XP user should know that the computer should be connected to the network. If there is no network or the network is poor, the first reaction is definitely to open the local connection to check the network connection, but recently the user friend found that his WindowsXP local connection is gone. But the network cable is plugged in again. How can this local connection disappear? What should I do?

The method is as follows:

1. Select the icon of my computer directly, right click to see the management icon in the menu and select Open. .

2, then open the management window to select & ldquo; computer management & rdquo; interface inside the & ldquo; Device Manager & rdquo; this option is turned on;

3, in the pop-up window Check to see if you have a network adapter option. If you have one, you can do it directly. If you don't have one, you need to install one.

4, after installation, look at the display is normal, if it is blank, you can not access the Internet, you need to check whether the TCP /IP service has been started.

5, click again & ldquo; My Computer & rdquo; select Open & ldquo; Management & rdquo;-- & ldquo; Service & Applications & rdquo; --- & ldquo; Service & rdquo; option; find TCP /IP in the service NetBIOS Helper this option, then we see that the service is not enabled, if you do not open it, you can click the right mouse button to start it.

6. Let's take a look at whether the Network Connections service is also enabled. If it is not enabled, click Open and then go back to the Network Neighborhood and click on the properties option. The local connection is found.

If the network connection is blank, the service may be disabled, right click on my computer, select Manage, and click Services. Find the NetworkConnections service from the service and enable it.
