How to manually add the missing boot.ini file to WinXP

In WinXP system, the boot.ini file stores the information that needs to be queried when the system is powered on. So this file is an indispensable part of the system. If a user manually deletes it (the installation of a dual-system machine may also affect the loss of files), you can only manually add a boot.ini file.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. First, we create a new "Notepad>; copy the following commands into Notepad.

2, the Copy command:

[boot loader]

timeout = 30

default = multi (0) disk (0) Rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional " /noexecute = optin /fastdetect

3, then save as & ldquo; boot.ini & rdquo; format.
