What can I do if WinXP cannot reinstall IE?

Solution:

Step 1: Click & ldquo; start & rdquo; & mdash; & ldquo; run & rdquo; command Enter "“regedit" in the "Run" dialog box that opens and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Step 2: Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFT-WAREXMicrosoftActiveSetupIn-sta1ledComponents{89820200-ECBD-llcf-8B85-00AA005B4383}.

Step 3: In the right window, find the DWORD key named "Islnstalled" and change its value data to " 0”."

Step 4: Close Registry Editor, and then run the installer for installation InternetExplorer6.0.

Tip: After modifying the value data of the “Islnstalled” key value in the registry to “0”, the xp system will consider that the Internet Explorer browser is not installed, so it can be installed smoothly.
